Orthopaedic Medicine Advancement

The world of orthopaedic medicine is rapidly advancing. New technology, such as 3-D surgical navigation, biologic implants, and injectables have transformed how physicians work and patients are cared for.  The options for patients have never been better for improving and maintaining healthy lifestyles with less invasive procedures. These advances help to keep people moving, and as many of our patients know, “motion is lotion”. This continues to drive much of what we hope to provide each day.

Minimally invasive procedures, such as ultrasound guided treatment of shoulder and elbow conditions, allow patients to recover at a much faster rate. Likewise, arthroscopic hip and knee repairs help to get athletes of all ages and skill levels back into the game more rapidly than treatment would have just one to two years ago. My 14-year-old soccer players and 80-year-old triathletes are both equally thrilled by the advances that get them back to competing at a high level as quickly and safely as possible. Our college athletes love to hear what the newest advances in medicine and orthopaedic technology are.  If you have any questions, we would love to hear from you.
