Kinesiophobia And Moving Forward With COVID-19

Blog post – May 2020 With all the unprecedented changes that we have seen in the last weeks one thing is certain – hope is starting to rise. The fight to move forward against the direct and indirect effects of COVID-19 (SARS -CoV -2) are encouraging. Our communities are stretching open their doors. We have the viral genetic code, medications and evolving treatments are being applied every day. Improved testing and vaccines are on the way. We still have many unanswered questions, but we owe it to each other to give and share hope.

We are continuing to learn that exercise and motion are critical to our health; exercise and activity are our best medicines. New treatments for kinesiophobia (fear of pain/movement) are being shared daily in digital chat sessions and meetings. Biologic concussion prevention, new biologic ACL treatments and rehabilitation, new MRI sequencing for diagnosing pain, artificial intelligence in real time, and digital baseball pitch count applications are all being shared in new ways. These are all positive reminders to keep us all moving forward. We know that we can encourage you that more good things are coming, and we are happy to help you stay healthy and active. We always welcome your questions and thoughts. Let us know how we can help.
